Overview

Depending on which functions are active at your building, you'll be able to submit repair requests, read management notices, place reservations, access building documents, and answer surveys through BuildingLink, among other things. BuildingLink also uses email and/or text messages to keep you informed when you have a package or other deliveries arriving to the property.

1. Make sure you’ve received a “Login letter.”

Each individual resident has a unique username and password that allows them to log in to the website. Your building management will register your information and then send you an email with a link to set up your account, including setting your password. Click on the link in the email.

Note: If your management team needs assistance with registering you in BuildingLink, please have them reach out to us directly at support@buildinglink.com or 1-877-501-7117 x0. If you need help getting contact information for your building management, or you have already set up your BuildingLink credentials, but do not know/remember your Username or Password, please contact us as well. You will be required to confirm the email address in your BuildingLink profile in order for us to re-send your credentials.

2. Search and Confirm Your Email.

Clicking the email link will open a page where you can type in your email address, then press Search. Next, a confirmation will appear letting you know a password reset email has been sent to you.

3. Check your email.

Check your mailbox for an email titled, “A password reset has been requested for your BuildingLink account”. This email will contain your username and a link to reset your password. Click Reset your password.

Follow the link to the Reset Password page and type whatever you would like your password to be. Press Save New Password to set your password. If successful, you will be taken to a confirmation page.

4. Log in to BuildingLink.

To log in and begin using your account, click this link to return to the login page.

On the login page, you’ll see two blank fields where you’ll need to type in the username and password. Type your username in the first blank field and your password into the second field, making sure to include any capital letters or numbers. After typing in this information, click the “Enter” button.

5. Welcome Home/Terms and Conditions.

The first time you log in to BuildingLink, you’ll have the chance to change your username and password. We recommend changing the password to something you can remember more easily. You can also update your personal contact information at this point to ensure that your building management has the most up-to-date contact information on file for you.

At the very bottom, you'll be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions, which you must agree to before using the service. Since BuildingLink is primarily a communication tool, you’re agreeing that our company can’t be held responsible for any information that you or your building staff choose to send or download through our site. You also agree not to use our website for any illegal activity. Click the blue “Next” button to advance to the next page.
