Overview

The Amenity Reservations feature allows residents to submit amenity reservations requests from the BuildingLink resident portal. These amenity reservation requests will be automatically received by building staff. Depending on your building's settings, this feature may or may not be enabled for your property.

Submitting Amenity Reservation Requests

If your building has enabled the ability for residents to submit amenity reservation requests through BuildingLink, you’ll see the option to do so right on the Home Page. In the "Building Info" section, click on the Amenity Reservations button.



 

On the "Amenity Reservations: Calendar View" page, depending on your property settings, you will see all requested and approved requests or only requests for your unit.  You can choose to view all amenities at once or select the specific amenity(s) you want to view.  You can also view your current reservations by clicking View My ReservationsTo place a new reservation click the green Add New Reservation button, and select the amenity you want to reserve. 




Next, fill out the form from top to bottom and click the green Save button at the bottom right to submit requests. You will be taken back to the the "Amenity Reservations-Calendar View" where you will see status of your submitted request and depending on the settings for your property you may also receive email confirmation. Note that any amenities that do not require approval from management will automatically appear in the "Approved" status after the request is saved. 




Using the Amenity Reservations - Availability Grid View


The Availability Grid View allows you to view the availability of all amenities or your selected amenity(s) for a specific date. To access the Availability Grid View from the "Amenity Reservations: Calendar View" click the Switch to Grid View button.



 

Next you can choose to view all amenities at once or select the specific amenity(s) you want to view. To place a new reservation click in an available time slot to add a reservation or click the Add New Reservation button. You can also view your current reservations by clicking View My Reservations. 


 


Viewing and Editing Amenity Requests

To view the status of a reservation request or to edit/cancel an existing request, click the Amenity Reservations button on the home page and from the "Amenity Reservations: Calendar View" then click the View My Reservations. You will see the status of your current reservation requests here. To view past reservations and/or to include recurring reservations, check the box next to the "Include Past Reservations" and/or "Include recurring reservations" options. 


To edit a "Requested" reservation, click Edit/View next to the reservation you'd like to edit.


 


 

To edit the Reservation Details selected request, just click the Edit button. You can edit any information you entered on the initial reservation request. Remember to click the green Save button before leaving the page. To cancel your reservation, click the Cancel Reservation button.





Adding Notes to Reservations

To add a note to an existing reservation request, click the Amenity Reservations button on the home page and from the "Amenity Reservations: Calendar View" then click View My Reservations.

You will see the status of your current reservation requests here. Next to the reservation you'd like to add a note to, click Edit/View.


At the bottom of the reservation you will the reservation history and any additional notes in the "Reservation History and Notes" section. The "Reservation History and Notes" section  will show any notes or status changes made on the request. You can even add a note to the "Reservation History and Notes" section for management to see by clicking the Add Note to Log button. Don't forget to click the Save Note button after adding your note!
